The Bradley Center for Grieving Children and Families
In 2009, a nationwide poll revealed that 1 in 9 Americans lose a parent before age 20, and 1 in 7 will lose a parent or sibling. The Bradley Center was founded to bring healing and hope to families facing these challenges.
The Bradley Center was inspired by the experiences of two mothers, Carrie Moore and Janice Taylor, who tragically lost their husbands in a plane crash. As mothers to six of the 17 children who lost fathers in the accident, they recognized the need for a supportive community for grieving families.
Named in honor of Carrie’s husband, Bradley, the center provides peer-based programs that foster healing and resilience for children and families dealing with loss. The scholarship fund is dedicated to Janice’s husband, Craig.
Through shared stories, faith, and inner strength, The Bradley Center continues to bring hope to grieving families.
